The Gupta Group to launch second phase at The Rosedale on Bloor

January 15, 2016

The Gupta Group is taking sales higher at The Rosedale on Bloor — up to 48 floors high.

Having sold out the first phase of the forthcoming 52-storey condo development on Bloor Street East near Yonge Street, The Gupta Group is poised to launch the second phase SkyWatch Condos, and the units included live up to the name.

They are situated from the 26th floor to the 48th, so these high-rise units will offer impressive sights no matter which way you look. The bustling downtown core is due south, trendy Yorkville is to the west, and the verdant Don Valley and leafy Rosedale are to the east and north, respectively.

The interior landscape will be eye-catching, too, as The Gupta Group tasked Alessandro Munge of Studio Munge with designing the interiors of The Rosedale on Bloor’s 476 suites, which range from 307 to 871 square feet.

Each unit’s kitchen plan boasts custom-designed cabinetry, porcelain backsplashes and countertops, and stainless steel appliances. In the bathroom, future residents will note marble or quartz countertops and floors of porcelain tile, as well as a drop-in acrylic soaker tub. Laminate flooring will be featured throughout the main living areas.

Canada’s first Canopy by Hilton, the global hotelier’s four-star boutique line, will reside in The Rosedale on Bloor’s podium, with residential units filling out the tower from the 11th floor and up.

A rooftop terrace complete with garden and barbecue caps off the Page+Steele/IBI Group Architects-designed condo development marked by clean lines and a mostly glass facade.

The building’s other amenities, which Gupta Group CEO Steve Gupta recently shared details of with BuzzBuzzHome, vary from the culinary to the entertaining.

They include a chef’s kitchen and private dining room, a fitness centre — including cardio equipment, weights, and a separate yoga and stretching room — theatre room, business centre, and lounge.

Prices at The Rosedale on Bloor, which follows The Gupta Group’s Dundas Square Gardens — the fastest-selling condo project in Toronto for 2015 — start in the mid-$200,000s.

Right now the Gupta Group is giving away a Rolex watch with each unit sold, excluding studios, but only for a limited time.
